A group of airport workers protested at United Airlines’ Houston headquarters Friday afternoon, demanding the airline pay workers a higher wage matching its other hubs around the nation.
George Bush Intercontinental Airport workers that are subcontracted to provide passenger services, as well as United Airlines employees affiliated with the local union, Unite Here Local 23, marched from Market Square Park in Houston to United’s Houston headquarters at 609 Mainin a demonstration against what they say are unfair working conditions.
